Opening Day Festivities, A Live Concert, First Ever Sesame Street Themed Fireworks Show on Memorial Day Weekend, Cookie Monster's "Me Love Talented Kids"¯ Weekend and more!

Langhorne, PA (March 26, 2007) This May, Sesame Place opens with exciting new shows, new events, and a special new neighbor! The 2007 season at Sesame Place, the nation's only theme park based on the award-winning television show Sesame Street, starts off with a bang with the first ever Sesame Street themed Fireworks show scheduled for the Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend. Plus, young guests will love meeting the newest neighbor at Sesame Place, Abby Cadabby, who appears in her own musical show called "Abby Cadabby's Treasure Hunt” featuring the all-star Sesame Street cast. With the popular 21,000 sq. ft. playland called Elmo's World that opened last season and all the fun-filled attractions, guests will relish the addition of these special events planned for the month of May.

Opening Day is on May 5th … Opening Day begins sharply at 9:45 a.m. with the VIP character arrival of all the Sesame Street stars who make their grand entrance in convertible cars as they are driven down the Plaza and Sesame Neighborhood. The newest neighbor at Sesame Place is Abby Cadabby, a sweet, inquisitive enthusiastic three-year-old fairy-in-training, who is the first new female resident on Sesame Street in 13 years. Abby Cadabby appears in her own musical show called "Abby Cadabby's Treasure Hunt"¯ featuring an all-star Sesame Street cast. During this treasure hunt musical adventure, they'll encounter a singing tree, a rhyming rock, a shouting toucan and much more. Another addition this season is the new theme of the stage show "Elmo's World Live.” A popular segment on the television show, the new focus is fishes! Elmo loves his goldfish Dorothy, and with songs, surprises, and special effects, he explores more fishy

fun at Sesame Place. All Elmo's fans should be sure to visit Elmo's World, the newest land at Sesame Place, with three fun-filled rides.

May 12th and 13th marks Christy Carlson Romano's Concert at Sesame Place. Guests who visit the park this weekend will enjoy a live concert by Christy Carlson Romano, voice of Kim Possible and star of Even Stevens on the Disney Channel. Reservations recommended, call

Cookie Monster's "Me Love Talented Kids” Weekend is on May 19th and 20th when 
10-year-old singer/pianist Rocco Fiorentino will kick off the weekend of talented kids! Talented young dancers, singers, bands, and other performing kid groups are invited to join in the fun and showcase their talent throughout the weekend. As well as spectacular performances from these talented kids, enjoy Meet and Greets with Cookie Monster. Rocco Fiorentino, born four months premature, has been blind most of his ten years of life. A boy who sees life as a gift, he's a jazz composer/pianist and singer as well as a motivational speaker. He is the inspiration behind The Little Rock Foundation that supports the needs of visually impaired and blind children. Rocco will delight audiences a performance at 11:30 a.m. on the 19th. For more information and to register for "Me Love Talented Kids"¯ Weekend, contact the Sesame Place Event's department at 215-741-5348.

Sunday, May 20th is the 2007 Sesame Place Classic. This ninth annual race, sponsored by Courier-Kiwanis, has become Bucks County's largest running event. Proceeds from the race benefit the Dick Dougherty Scholarship Fund. Registration begins at 7 a.m. for the 5K, one-mile fun run and Sesame 100 yard Sprint for kids. Races will be held rain or shine and all racers will receive one free admission to Sesame Place good through May 31, 2007. For more information or to register for this event visit www.phillyburbs.com/pb-dyn/page.cfm?name=sesame.

Saturday, May 26 and Sunday, May 27 -- First Ever Sesame Street Themed Fireworks that will light up the skies for The Memorial Day Weekend Celebration. This dazzling weekend rounds out an action-packed month of May at Sesame Place. The night sky will be sparkling at
Sesame Place, with the debut of a brand new spectacular fireworks show, set to Sesame Street music, making the festivities on Memorial Day weekend truly memorable. This year marks the first season for fireworks at Sesame Place. Saturday and Sunday Only. Show times to be announced. Visit sesameplace.com for updates.

May 5 through June 15 and September 8 through October 27 is Sesame Place's Scout Days. Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts are invited to spend an action-packed and fun-filled day at Sesame Place for just $19 per person. Scouts will receive activity sheets to guide them through requirements for a badge and a limited edition scout participant patch (while supplies last).

Sesame Place, an interactive play experience for families with children ages 2-7 and named one of the top four theme parks in the Northeast by Family Fun Magazine, is located 30 minutes north of Philadelphia and 90 minutes south of Manhattan. Sesame Place offers stimulating play activities feature exhilarating water attractions such as Sky Splash, live stage shows, the "Rock Around the Block” musical parade, the thrilling Vapor Trail roller coaster and memorable Sesame Street character greetings throughout the day. Sesame Place is an Anheuser Busch Adventure Park. Busch Entertainment Corporation also operates SeaWorld, Busch Gardens and Discovery Cove. Aquatica, SeaWorld's water park, is under construction in Orlando and is scheduled to open next spring.

Sesame Place opens May 5, 2007. It is open Friday through Sunday until May 25 when the park is open daily. After Labor Day, Sesame Place is open weekends only until October 27, 2007. Single day general admission is $44.50, children under the age of 2 are free, and seniors (55+) are $39.50. There are varying selections of season passports such as the entry level Sesame Passport, upscale Big Bird Passport and platinum level Super Grover Passport with benefits throughout the season.
