SESAME PLACE EXCITING EVENTS IN JUNE TOPPED BY JULY 4TH FIREWORKS

Sesame Street's Bob McGrath, Father's Day Fun, Live Concerts from MYXX and
Little Maestros, Sparkling Independence Day Celebrations and Much More!

Langhorne, PA (March 30, 2007) -- The fun continues at Sesame Place, the nation's only theme park based on the award-winning television show Sesame Street, with special events planned throughout the month of June, ending with a unique Independence Day celebration with festivities on June 30th, July 1st and 4th. During this season's Independence Day weekend, the sky above Sesame Place will come alive with a brand new spectacular fireworks display set to Sesame Street music. Along with June's exciting events, guests can play all day at the park's newest and most popular playland, the 21,000 sq. ft. Elmo's World. Sesame Place offers stimulating play activities and exciting live shows including the newest musical stage show, "Abby Cadabby's Treasure Hunt”, featuring Sesame's newest neighbor and fairy-in-training, Abby Cadabby. 

Here are highlights of the spectacular events, special appearances, and performances planned for June and early July:

June 2nd and 3rd is Storybook Weekend with Bob from Sesame Street and characters from Dragon Tales
Guests who visit the park this weekend will enjoy a live interactive stage show featuring storytelling and songs with one of the original members of the Sesame Street cast, Bob McGrath, and the all-star cast of Sesame Street stars. In addition to this exciting performance, guests will be able to meet Cassie, Zak and Wheezie direct from the popular animated series Dragon Tales.

June 9th and 10th is the MYXX Live Concert at Sesame Place
There is a live concert presenting the hip-hop sounds of MYXX, the sister act of Elizabeth and Evonne Hunnicutt. With two totally opposite personalities, the girls sing and dance together, each adding their own distinct influences to their live performances. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 215-752-7070 x222. June 15th – Young Teens Invited to Friday Nights- Summer Nights Series 
During Sesame's Summer Nights Series, middle schoolers are invited to an exclusive after hours DJ dance party from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Students will mix and mingle during the DJ dance party and participate in dance contests and interactive video games. Students will have a chance to win prizes and experience the water rides during this exclusive event. Admission is only $15.00 (plus tax).

June 16th and 17th -- Sesame Place Celebrates Father's Day
To celebrate dad on Father's Day, kids can enter their fathers in the "My Dad's the Best” contests where they'll compete against other dads in household tasks such as braiding hair, folding laundry and matching socks! Meet The Philadelphia Football Cheerleaders. Kids can make their own Father's Day gifts for dad, presented by Loews (whiles supplies last).

June 23rd and 24th -- Live Concerts from Little Maestros
Little Maestros will take children on a fantastic musical journey using musical stories, songs, imaginative play, and language development activities. Named New York City's premier infant and toddler music program by the New York Times and NBC's Today Show, Little Maestros takes their show on the road to Sesame Place bringing together music and friends in a musical performance, featuring four live musicians who sing and play guitar, piano and drums. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling

Start off July with Fireworks at Sesame Place's Independence Day Celebrations, June 30th, July 1st and Wednesday July 4th
Sesame Place kicks off the Independence Day weekend celebrations with a brand new spectacular firework show set to Sesame Street music. This first-ever Sesame themed fireworks display will be a truly memorable event for the whole family to experience together. Sesame Place, an interactive play experience for families with children ages 2-7 and named one of the top four theme parks in the Northeast by Family Fun Magazine, is located 30 minutes north of Philadelphia and 90 minutes south of Manhattan. Sesame Place offers stimulating play activities feature exhilarating water attractions such as Sky Splash, live stage shows, the "Rock Around the Block” musical parade, the thrilling Vapor Trail roller coaster and memorable Sesame Street character greetings throughout the day. Sesame Place is an Anheuser Busch Adventure Park. Busch Entertainment Corporation also operates SeaWorld, Busch Gardens and Discovery Cove. Aquatica, SeaWorld's water park, is under construction in Orlando and is scheduled to open next spring.

Sesame Place opens May 5, 2007. It is open Friday through Sunday until May 25 when the park is open daily. After Labor Day, Sesame Place is open weekends only until October 27, 2007. Single day general admission is $44.50, children under the age of two are free, and seniors (55+) are $39.50. There are varying selections of season passports such as the entry level Sesame Passport, upscale Big Bird Passport and platinum level Super Grover Passport with benefits throughout the season.
