Born November 2, this intense Scorpio lives, well, to eat! Cookie Monster, the frenzied-but-cuddly character, still loves his cookies but also enjoys a variety of healthy foods. Even Cookie Monster has started building up Healthy Habits to keep feeling good. He loves the four food groups, problem solving through munching and has a strong aversion to empty plates. In fact, his philosophy is you can never have too much of a good thing. Like cookies. Or singing about cookies, like in his favorite song "C is for Cookie." Or hanging out with best friend Ernie while eating cookies!
Cookie has a special connection with preschoolers, who identify with his efforts to master words and phrases and learn basic problem-solving skills from his eternal quest to find more food.
Cookie Monster is a favorite here at Sesame Place. Cookie Monster can be seen in the Big Bird Theater Show, the "Rock Around the Block" parade and at various times and locations throughout the park. But don't be surprised to see him eating healthy foods; even Cookie Monster has to start building up Healthy Habits to keep feeling good. |
