SAFE, SUPERVISED FUN
FOR MIDDLE SCHOOLERS
Langhorne,
PA (August 5, 2008) – On Friday, September 5, Sesame Place, the nation’s only
theme park based entirely on the award-winning television series Sesame
Street, opens its doors after hours for an exclusive event for 6th to
9th graders. The Summer Nights Series is from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
and includes a DJ dance party and dance contests,
water rides, prizes, basketball games, interactive video games and more!
Admission is $15 (plus tax) in purchased advance on-line or $17 at the gate.
Planned
as a night of fun, the Summer Nights Series is offered in the safe environment
of the theme park with a variety of supervised activities. Middle schoolers
can hang out with close friends while meeting new ones from around the area.
The end of the evening dance contest offers great prizes and makes staying
until the end a must.
Each
one of these special middle school nights is fully staffed by the park security
team to insure a safe, drug-free atmosphere. Sesame Place has been the
recipient of the Middletown Township’s Teen Task Force Award for outstanding
service and dedication to the community’s youth because of these programs.
Sesame
Place, located near Philadelphia in Langhorne, PA, is considered the ideal first theme park experience for young children two
to seven years of age. Sesame Place is open weekends only until October 25,
2008. Single day general admission is $47.50,
