Background: When Takia Mann (of Manhattan) brought her two children to Sesame Place on Saturday, she never expected she’d leave with THREE children!
The plan was for the family to
have a day of fun at Sesame Place BUT,
20 minutes into the visit mom went
into the restroom and came out with a baby girl! Her water broke and the little
baby girl entered the world – in the restroom at Sesame Place! The baby was so
cooperative even her umbilical chord broke off naturally. Mom said,
“It happened so fast. I didn’t
have pain just SHOCK!”
A woman in a nearby stall asked
Takia if she were alright and Takia opened the door with her brand new baby in
her arms. Sesame Place EMT, Emily Raab, 20, checked out the baby who was
healthy and weighed 5 lbs., 11 ounces!
Takia and baby were taken by
ambulance to St. Mary’s Hospital. All are doing well and are scheduled to
return home on Monday afternoon, after her children have a special visit with
Elmo and Abby Cadabby!
