PA (Aug 1, 2008) – Sesame Place, the nation’s only theme park based entirely on
the award-winning television show Sesame Street, will launch the 2009
season passes beginning August 1, 2008. Families, who purchase 2009 season
passes now, can use them for the remainder of the 2008 season, plus all of 2009.
That means Sesame Place is free to these families from August 1 to closing
October 25, 2008 plus unlimited access to the park during the entire 2009
season.
"In
today’s economy," explains Paula Pritchard, Director of Communications of
Sesame Place, "we understand that families are looking for the best possible
value. Offering the 2009 season passes early, allows our guests to get the most
out of the passes by using them for the remainder of the 2008 season plus all
of 2009. It truly is a great value."
The
Passports are available in three levels. The Sesame Passports, $76.95 per
person, gives guests unlimited admission into the park, exclusive access to
member events, plus discounts on food and merchandise. Big Bird Passports, $109.95
per person, allow guests additional benefits including complimentary general
parking, complimentary meet-and-greets with characters, and 50% off single day admission
to SeaWorld, Aquatica, and Busch Gardens. Super Grover Passports, $149.95 per
person, offer the most benefits to guests. In addition to everything mentioned
above, guests receive unlimited admissions to SeaWorld, Aquatica and Busch Gardens, complimentary preferred parking, and ride again privileges.
Sesame
Place, located near Philadelphia, in Langhorne, PA, is considered the ideal first theme park experience for young children two
to seven years of age. Sesame Place is open daily until Labor Day when the
park is open weekends only until October 25, 2008. To
