All-new for the 2024 season, the 123 Playground will have you counting all of the delightful ways to climb, hop, and play at this imaginative and colorful play area, located just across from the iconic Sesame Street Neighborhood. Adults can relax and recharge under the garden-inspired shades while children enjoy classic playground elements including slides, interactive panels, and soft play mounds. Surrounded by blooming flowerbeds and topiaries modeled after Sesame Street friends, the 123 Playground will be central to the park with easy access to dining and shopping locations.

The 123 Playground will debut at Sesame Place on May 25!

Sesame Place Philadelphia will celebrate the opening of its newest attraction, the 123 Playground, on Saturday, May 25 with a garden party-inspired celebration in addition to the park’s annual Memorial Day Weekend festivities!

10:30am- Grand Opening Ceremony
Guests are invited to gather around the Sesame Street Neighborhood to officially open the new playground with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and appearances from Sesame Street friends!

Following the grand opening ceremony, Sesame Place Season Pass Members will be the first to experience the 123 Playground until 12:00pm.

10:45am- 123 Plant with Me
Guests can receive their very own seedling and learn how to best take care of their new plants from one of Sesame Place’s horticulture specialists across from the Sesame Street Neighborhood. Giveaways are first-come, first-served, while supplies last. One per child.

10:45am- Springtime Duck Giveaway
Guests can pick up a fun springtime-themed duck across from the Sesame Street Neighborhood.

11:30am-2:30pm- Season Pass Member Tote Bag Giveaway
Season Pass Members can visit Sesame Studio to pick up an exclusive 2024 tote bag from 11:30am to 2:30pm.
Giveaways are first-come, first-served, while supplies last. One per Season Pass Member. Must present valid Bronze, Silver, Transferable, Gold or Platinum Sesame Place Philadelphia Season Pass.

Experience the Sunny Day Carousel in a whole new way in 2024! Colorfully renovated with friendly horses themed after Sesame Street friends, this classic and whimsical merry-go-round is the perfect attraction for the entire family. At its new location in Sesame Plaza, the Sunny Day Carousel will welcome you to Sesame Place and start your day off the sunny way!
